Hub City Empty Bowls is a grassroots organization that connects potters, charities, and ordinary citizens to make clay bowls free-of-charge that are then used to raise funds to end food insecurity in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

We hold public bowl-making sessions throughout the year, each leading up to the Soup Day fundraiser in the late summer or early fall in Spartanburg. It's a day of soup and fellowship, and one of community’s most successful fundraisers.
