Celebrating 10 Years!

One Bowl at a Time.

We Use Art To Help End Food Insecurity In Spartanburg.

Hub City Empty Bowls is a grassroots organization that connects potters, charities, and ordinary citizens to make pottery bowls free-of-charge that are then used to raise funds to end food insecurity in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Benefit

Sure, you get to make pottery bowls for free. And yes, you get unlimited soup, bread, tea, entertainment, and a bowl on Soup Day. But we gave TOTAL Ministries $33,500.00 in 2017! That's the real benefit!

Participate

We hold public bowl-making sessions throughout the summer, each leading up to the Soup Day fundraiser held at Chapman Cultural Center. It's a day of soup and fellowship, and one of Spartanburg's most successful fundraisers.
